I was responsible for welding most of the perforated steel steps between the moat and stage level.

I was responsible for welding most of the perforated steel steps between the moat and stage level.

The steps were each built as a top and bottom frame connected by vertical members.

To drive the upstage fans, I did a mock-up with a small 12v motor from our stock and a tie line drive belt. To my surprise, this system was quite successful and worked through the run of the show.
